Adapt was founded by Bill Withers to help privately owned and large family businesses lead with more clarity, alignment and momentum, supported by practical frameworks and real-world experience.

In 2021, Gabe Enslin stepped in to lead Adapt’s next chapter. Bill handed over leadership using the same Adapt principles and tools we use with customers, creating role clarity, strengthening leadership alignment, and supporting a smooth transition.

Our work is hands-on and close to the real day-to-day, with trust built through respect, honesty, and follow-through.

That means we’re listening intently, being direct, and creating space for people to speak up, challenge ideas, and get things done without politics. 

Our learning stays practical and ongoing: sharing what we’re seeing, testing what works, and owning what doesn’t.

Our focus is on outcomes that genuinely improve things, for our customers and for the team delivering the work. We use the same tools and disciplines inside Adapt that we bring into customer businesses, because the experience has to hold up in practice. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t belong.
